Rich Werber, owner of

to Watch in the Industry" in 1997.

Community Involvement
As a locally owned Hampton Roads business, Great
Atlantic is committed to supporting the communities in which we
operate. That's why you'll find our owners Rich and Eileen Werber
and the Great Atlantic team involved in a number of local organizations.
From leadership roles in the Hampton Roads Chamber
of Commerce, Future of Hampton Roads, and the leadership roles in

2007 Rich was recognized as the "Outstanding Volunteer of the
Year" by the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. In 2008, Eileen
Werber was awarded the “Pink Ribbon Lifetime Volunteer Award”
in recognition of her work in establishing the local Tidewater Affiliate
of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
